About this site
What it is
This site is a free, bilingual (Chinese / English), fully static chemistry knowledge base for students, teachers and chemistry enthusiasts. It turns the periodic table into a set of tools you can explore, compute with and learn from — running entirely in your browser, with no sign-up.
What’s included
- Periodic table: 118 elements, colour-by-property and a temperature slider showing state.
- Element pages: properties, electron shells (Bohr model), uses, compounds containing the element, and data sources.
- Compound library: common acids, bases, salts, oxides and organics with structure, reactions, hazards and CAS.
- Reactions: common reactions + an in-browser equation balancer.
- Calculators: molar mass, dilution, concentration, ideal gas, stoichiometry, solubility, pH.
- Visualizations, comparison, category browse, search and learning mode.
Data sources
Atomic weights follow IUPAC (CIAAW) standard values; covalent radii are from Cordero et al. (2008); compound and property data can be verified on PubChem, NIST, Wikipedia, the RSC and CAS. Sources are cited on each page. Content is for educational reference only — not for engineering or medical use.
Independence
This is an independent educational project and is not affiliated with any of the organisations above; their databases are referenced only for verification convenience.
