Privacy Policy
Overview
This site is a free, bilingual chemistry knowledge base and a fully static website. We respect your privacy; this page explains how we handle cookies and visit data.
Information we collect
This site has no accounts and does not actively collect personal information you provide. All calculators (molar mass, pH, stoichiometry, etc.) run locally in your browser; your inputs are not uploaded to any server.
As with any website, the hosting provider may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, browser type and time) for security and analytics.
Cookies & advertising (Google AdSense)
This site uses Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- Google uses advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve personalised ads based on your visits.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or manage third-party vendor options at aboutads.info.
- A cookie consent banner is shown at the bottom of the site, using Google Consent Mode: advertising cookies are not enabled until you consent.
For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA)/UK, Google requires a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP). For production use we recommend enabling “Privacy & messaging / Funding Choices” in AdSense; this banner is a general baseline consent mechanism.
Fonts & third-party links
This site loads fonts via Google Fonts; Google may log request information when fonts are served. The site links to external resources such as PubChem, NIST, Wikipedia, the RSC and CAS Common Chemistry, whose privacy policies are governed by those sites.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the EEA, the UK or California, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to opt out of personalised advertising. EEA visitors can manage advertising-cookie consent via the banner or the Google settings above.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for general educational use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
